Unlike the lower trims, the SX and SXL are standard with only one engine. Both trims are also only available with seven seats. At the heart of the SX and SXL models is a 290-hp, 3.3-liter V-6 is paired with six-speed automatic transmission. With that said, the most significant difference between the SX and SXL are the features available. Both the SX and SXL are standard with most of the features from the previous trims and add a variety of technologies. Standard features on the SX include upgraded exterior trim, automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, a 10-speaker Infinity sound system, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and much more. An Advanced Technology package is optional and adds xenon headlights, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, LED interior lighting and a 110-volt household style outlet. Moving up to the SXL carries over all the features from the SX, including the Advanced Technology package. Additional features include chrome-clad wheels, upgraded leather upholstery, heated second-row seats, a wood-trim steering wheel and much more. Which 2018 Kia Sorento model is right for you?
