Dynamic, sporty, and stylish, the Kia Forte sedan brings a driver-centric focus to a vehicle class that can be a little vanilla. It’s a great choice for anyone who puts a lot of miles under their tires and wants to make the most of their time on the road. The Forte was completely overhauled for the 2019 model year, and with new 2020 models starting to hit dealership lots we wanted to dive into what separates the outgoing 2019 model from the incoming 2020 Kia Forte.
Aside for a new optional package on EX trim levels and the addition of two new GT trims, the 2020 Kia Forte lineup is going to look like a copy of the outgoing lineup right down to the starting MSRP. Not surprising as the Forte was just redone. We break down some of the subtle changes to the 2020 Kia Forte below. Keep reading or head to the Moritz Kia online inventory pages to see which models are available now at our Fort Worth dealership.

Trim Levels, Pricing, and Standard Features
Like we mentioned above, the 2020 Kia Forte and 2019 Kia Forte lineups are going to be very similar. In most cases, each 2020 trim should offer the same standard features and optional equipment as its outgoing 2019 counterpart save for the EX trim that added a new optional Special Edition package.
Two brand-new trims are also available for 2020 that put an emphasis on sporty accessories and upgraded performance. The GT Line trim adds a handful of sport-themed features like a flat-bottomed steering wheel and gloss-black exterior accents and the GT trim adds upgraded performance with a more-powerful engine, a sport-tuned suspension, and more.
So, which Kia Forte model year is best for you? It depends on your preferences. If you are interested in one of the new GT Line or GT trim levels, you’ll want to head to your Kia dealership to seek out the new 2020 lineup. If one of the other trims has your eye, then the model year in this case becomes less important. In that case, you can look for the best deal.
