2017 Fall Festivals and Events near Fort Worth TX

Summer flew by and fall is upon us, which means it’s time for fall festivals, pumpkin spice drinks, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and so much more! To kick off the fall season, the DFW area has a ton of fun, family-friendly festivals to choose from. Pottery in the Park Arts Festival

Returning for its 15th year, this outdoor festival features over 50 decorative and visual creations including pottery, jewelry, glass art, and other handmade crafts. Tour the pottery studio and learn how to make pottery from local artists. The event also features a kid’s clay table, raffle prizes, and a bake sale. The event is located near the Trinity River and walking trails. Admission and parking is free.

Flying Saucer BeerFeast 2017

One of DFW’s best beer festivals for sampling quality craft beers, Flying Saucer’s BeerFeast features beer sampling from more than 70 breweries, delicious catered food, and live music.  A VIP-only event, admission tickets include a 2017 BeerFeast t-shirt, a BeerFeast tasting glass, and a tasting card good for 12 samples of any of the more than 120 festival beers. River District Rio Fest 2017

Celebrating Fort Worth’s revitalizing growth into the River District, the Rio Festival features the best of Fort Worth’s culture, including live music, homegrown artists, local shop owners, and food and drink vendors. The event also features pumpkin patch photos, hay rides, a Kid’s Zone with crafts and games, and more. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Kids 12 and under get in free. A portion of each ticket sale supports Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Bell Helicopter Fort Worth Alliance Air Show

Enjoy a stunning flight demonstration from one of the most well-known jet teams in the world—the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels. The pilots will demonstrate their expertise as they soar across the North Texas sky. After the 10-minute performance, the Blue Angels will also perform precision flying, stunts, acrobatic maneuvers, and more. The event also features historical displays, interactive exhibits and simulators, and a Kid’s Zone.
