We compared the base trim to the highest trim level possible to show off the differences between the Sorento L and Sorento SXL.
The first difference starts with the engines. The 2017 Sorento L is powered by a 2.4-liter engine with 185 horsepower, whereas the 2017 Sorento SXL is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine with 290 horsepower.
