2017 Niro Engine Specs and Driving Range
With an estimated 50 mpg combined, the all-new 2017 Kia Niro will have a near 600-mile driving range. The 2017 Niro is one of the most impressive fuel-efficient crossovers available on the market. The all-new Niro is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total output of 146 horsepower. The Niro features an aerodynamic design with weight-saving materials to preserve energy for a quieter, more fuel-efficient ride.
Through the touchscreen on the center console, Niro owners will be able to access all of their Niro’s vitals including energy distribution to fuel economy. The Niro will also let you know how efficiently you are driving. The more efficiently you drive, the more leaves your tree grows. The screen will also show a live diagram of what is happening under the hood of the Niro. In real time, you will be able to see how efficiently your Niro maximizes fuel economy.
