Model Options and Features

The 2018 Kia Optima is available in five well-equipped, affordable trim levels—LX, S, LX 1.6T, EX, and SX. The base trim, LX, is equipped with a host of standard features including a few unexpected safety systems like Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Moving up the model line adds even more features, upscale amenities, and upgraded powertrain options. The 2018 Optima trim levels, prices, and features are listed below.  

LX | Standard features include a 185-hp 2.4L engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, a Rear Parking Assist system, Blind Spot Detection, a rearview camera, a 7″ touchscreen display with UVO eservices, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth Wireless and Hands-free, and more. Starting MSRP is $22,500.  

S | Upgrades include 17″ alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a dark metallic sport grille, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with black sport cloth, heated outside mirrors, LED front fog lights, and LED sport rear combination lamps. Starting MSRP is $23,500.  

LX 1.6t | Upgrades include a 178-hp 1.6L turbocharged I4 engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, a day/night interior rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 2-way power lumbar support. Starting MSRP is $24,300.  

EX | Upgrades include a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with an Integrated Memory System, heated front seats, leather seat trim, wood grain accent trim, smart key with push-button start, and more. Starting MSRP is $25,600.  

SX | Upgrades include a 245-hp 2.0L turbocharged I4 engine, a 10-way power-adjustable passenger’s seat and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade and LED interior lighting, and LED headlights with Dynamic Bending Light. Starting MSRP is $30,500.
