Trim Levels and Standard Features, Upgrades

The 2018 Kia Sportage is available in three high-value, well-equipped trim levels—LX, EX, and SX Turbo. Across the lineup, the crossover is loaded with premium features, advanced technology, and thoughtful amenities. All trim levels offer available AWD configurations, but AWD is not standard. The 2018 Sportage offers two engine options, a 2.4L and a 2.0L turbocharged, both mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The base trim, LX, offers a generous number of standard features that will serve budget-conscious drivers well without much sacrifice. The mid-trim, EX, adds a few upgrades in technology and comfort features and adds two driver-assist systems. The top-of-the-line trim, the SX Turbo, offers the highest upgrades available on the model in performance, design, technology, and driver-assists. The SX Turbo trim boasts five of Kia’s driver-assist systems, including Autonomous Emergency Braking.
