2019 Kia Rio Interior Design and Features
One thing Kia is known for is its ability to pack colossal value into its most compact vehicles. With a starting MSRP of $15,390 for the base-level LX trim level that kicks up to $16,190 for the S trim level, the 2019 Rio is already a remarkably affordable option. On top of the attractive pricing structure, Kia sweetens the deal with an upscale interior that’s eager to please.
In terms of tech, the 2019 Rio comes standard with a vibrant 5-inch touchscreen display that also serves as a rearview camera. The Rio’s audio system features standard Bluetooth and SiriusXM compatibility to keep you connected with the music you love. Four dynamic speakers provide you with rich sound and clarity.
Drivers in the 2019 Rio S get upgraded to the 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility and gain the option to add on available systems like remote start, valet alert and diagnostics. The Rio S trim level also sees an enhanced audio system with 6 speakers and front tweeters.
After undergoing some significant design changes for 2018, the 2019 Rio carries on the fourth-generation style with tricot woven seats that feature a clean and modern pattern.
The 2019 Rio LX gains adjustable headrests in the rear as well as a 60/40 split rear bench for a more flexible cargo space.
Despite being classified as a subcompact sedan, the Rio delivers a surprisingly roomy cabin, with 89.9 cubic feet of total passenger space. In the front seats of both 2019 Rio trim levels, you’ll find 38.9 in. of head room, 54.1 in. of shoulder room and 42.1 in. of legroom. Rear passengers see slightly less space with 37.4 in. of head room, 53.3 in. of shoulder room and 33.5 in. of legroom.
