School is almost here again, and with it comes the craziness that is back to school shopping. You want to make sure your kids get quality supplies, but don’t want to spend more money than you need to. So, here are a few places that you can hit up that have school supplies here in Fort Worth, TX.

  • Walmart: it’s cheap, it’s everywhere, and it has pretty much everything.
  • Target: much like Walmart, but you can potentially find your children some back-to-school outfits, as well.
  • Old Navy: clothes, clothes, and more clothes.
  • Amazon: online shopping, anyone?
  • IKEA: for those who have a college student, or to pick out something for your own home. (It’s actually in Grand Prairie, but close enough to make it on the list)
  • Office Depot: printer supplies for your own home as papers and assignments start rolling in.

It’s just a few stores, but should be enough to get most of the items your kid needs for school!

  • Minifridge & microwave
  • Class supplies (ie; notebooks, pencils, pens, etc)
  • Command hooks
  • Clorox wipes/cleaning supplies
  • Hangers
  • Area rug (for tiled/wood floors, or for aesthetic purposes)

Again, not a complete list, but it should be enough to get you started thinking of things needed in a dorm room. Don’t forget to check with roommates to see if they already have a minifridge and microwave!
