Why Should I Buy a Kia?
Kia Motors was ranked highest among all popular brands in the 2016 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) and placed fifth overall in the industry, ahead of luxury brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. What are the Best Family Cars of 2016?
Recently, Parents Magazine and Edmunds.com released their 10 Best Family Cars of 2016 list and Kia was one of just two brands to have multiple vehicles on the list. The list recognizes top picks for safety, performance and family-friendly features, the full list can be seen online and will appear in the July issue of Parents magazine. Hundreds of vehicles are rated in quality of ride, safety, comfort and capacity, fuel efficiency, kid-friendly features, price and value, reliability and interior and exterior design. (more…)
2016 Kia Soul Price, Design and Features
For the fifth year in a row, Kelley Blue Book has named the Kia Soul as one of the top 10 coolest cars under $18,000 in their annual list. The 2016 Kia Soul was chosen due to its head-turning style, extensive feature content, and excellent value. 2017 Sportage Safety Rating
The 2017 Kia Sportage was awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+ when equipped with optional front crash prevention. As of 2016, testing parameters were changed making the requirements more rigid which means earning this award shows Kia’s ongoing commitment to safety and their dedication to continuous improvement. The IIHS testing parameters now require each vehicle to earn “good” ratings in five crashworthiness tests: small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side impact, roof strength and head restraints as well as an “advanced” or “superior” rating for front crash prevention in order to qualify for a Top Safety Pick+. Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com 16 Best Family Cars for 2016
Two Kia vehicles were named in the Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com 16 Best Family Cars for 2016 list, the 2016 Kia Optima and 2016 Kia Sedona. The 2016 Optima was praised for being stylish, feature-packed and family friendly while the 2016 Sedona was recommended for its style, function, modern interior, impressive available driver assistance features and overall value. When creating the list of top 16 vehicles that best meet the needs of today’s families, Kelley Blue Book focused on safety, comfort, convenience, spaciousness and fit of various child safety car seats. 2016 Kia Optima KBB Award
For the 2016 model year the Kia Optima won the KBB.com award for the midsize car best buy. This award is a great honor for the Optima and Kia as it shows the quality that Kia puts into producing their vehicles and their dedication to provide their customers with the best Kia has to offer. More than 300 new models were tested and evaluated and that number was narrowed down to 12 winners, one of those being the 2016 Kia Optima. (more…)
2016 Kia Soul Wins IIHS Top Safety Pick
To qualify for a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), a vehicle must earn “good” ratings in all five crashworthiness tests, as well as a basic for front crash prevention. The crashworthiness tests include, small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraints and seats tests. Proudly, the 2016 Kia Soul was among two other Kia vehicles who won the IIHS Top Safety Pick award. The 2016 Kia Sorento and 2016 Kia Sedona were the other two vehicles from Kia who were awarded the 2016 IIHS Top Safety Pick. (more…)
