After a tragic car accident took the lives of Doug Herbert’s sons, the award-winning drag racer founded the B.R.A.K.E.S. (Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe) defensive driving training program. The program partners with local instructors and volunteers nationwide to provide additional instruction on road safety that adds to the information teen drivers receive in Driver’s Ed.
