Dog Parks in Fort Worth, TX

Do you live in the Forth Worth or surrounding area and are looking for dog parks to take your furry friend? Fort Worth has a lot of options for available dog parks, all of which offer their own unique atmosphere and amenities. See the list of dog parks in Fort Worth and enjoy some time at the park this summer.

Fort Woof is Fort Worth’s first off-leash dog park and has two large fenced areas for dogs to roam. A “large dog” side for dogs 40 pounds and more and a separate “small dog” side for dogs weighing less than 40 pounds. Each area has picnic tables and park benches, a water station and multiple poop-disposal locations, each with a supply of plastic bags. The park is open daily from 5 AM to 11:30 PM.

ZBonz Dog Park

Forth Worth’s newest dog park, ZBonz was finally completed in April and is a 10-acre dog park. The park has separate sections for large and small dogs and there are two shelters, various agility items, pet fountains and two aerated ponds. There are plenty of benches and other places to sit plus a dog wash station and 12 dog waste stations.

North Z Boaz Community Park

North Z Boaz Community Park is a 10-acre dog park that has obstacle courses, swimming holes and plenty of room to play and run.

The Dallas area has plenty of dog parks as well if you live in the Dallas or surrounding area then check out the local dog parks that the city has to offer. There are a total of four off-leash dog parks located throughout the city.

Bark Park Central is a 1.2 acre off-leash dog park in downtown Dallas. The park features dog drinking bowls, dog shower, pet waste station and a shaded area.

White Rock Lake Dog Park

White Rock Lake dog park is a 3 acre off-leash dog park that features great views of the lake, trail and wildflower areas. You are only steps away from hiking, jogging, cycling and boating around Dallas’ largest lake. The park features benches, dog drinking bowls, drinking fountain, fenced-in area, large dog area, small dog area, parking, pet waste station and picnic tables.

NorthBark Dog Park

NorthBark dog park is a 22.3 acre off-leash dog park in north Dallas. The park features trails, dog beach, doggy shower, drinking fountain and more.

Wagging Tail Dog Park

This 6.9 acre park is also located in north Dallas. Wagging Tail dog park features benches, drinking fountain, fenced-in area, large and small dog area, nature observation platform with great views of a waterfall, picnic tables, shaded areas and trails.
