Earth Day Events in Dallas, TX

Earth Day Texas is a non-profit organization that holds a three-day event to celebrate progress, hope and innovation and is the largest event in the world of its kind. Environmental organizations, businesses, academic institutions, government agencies, speakers, and interactive programming all come together for this event to encourage attendees to be the change they wish to see in the world. Event information is as follows.  

April 22-24 from 10 AM to 6 PM @ Fair Park, Dallas FREE ADMISSION!

Earth Day Texas Event Schedule

This three-day event holds lots of expos throughout the weekend. With so much to do it will be hard to see it all, good thing you have three-days though! Plenty to do for every age group see some of the events going on at Earth Day Texas 2016.


Annabelle’s Zoofari 

Visit the animals at Annabelle’s Zoofari, where this petting zoo features both zoo and exotic animals kids can meet for the first time.

  • Saturday & Sunday All Day @ Court of Honor

Bike Texas Kids Kup 

Bring the kids and learn to ride a bike on this fun and safe tot test track! Kids can race against each other at the BikeTexas KidsKup, a fun race for kids up to age 12.

  • Saturday & Sunday All Day @ D.A.R House

Landscaping Workshops 

Texas A&M AgriLife will be presenting workshops on topics like edible landscapes, composting, rain barrels, native plants and lawn maintenance. Great place to find out tips on applying sustainable principles at home and in the garden.

  • Saturday 10-4 PM Location Coming Soon

Savor Dallas Sustainable Food Market 

This market highlights chefs, restaurants, and food vendors who are using local ingredients, farm-to-table fare, sustainability, and environmentally responsible practices.

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12-6 PM @ Esplanade

Yoga in the Park 

Attend a yoga class led by a Buddhist monk from the Drepunling Monastery in Tibet. Enjoy a short discussion on the connection between mind, body and nature and a 45 minute yoga class.

  • Sunday 10-12:30 PM @ Hall of State
