So you know you want a Kia SUV, but now you have to decide between the 2019 Kia Sorento, and the 2019 Kia Sportage. Each vehicle has their own qualities that make them a good fit for different families. Let’s take a look at what they are.

2019 Kia Sorento vs 2019 Kia Sportage

As you can see in the table above, the 2019 Sorento has a bit more power than the 2019 Sportage. That doesn’t mean that the Sportage is weak by any means. Though if you are looking for more power, then you might want to take the Sorento over the Sportage. Of course, the Sorento does sacrifice a small amount of fuel efficiency for that extra power. So, if you are looking for a fuel-efficient vehicle, and don’t really care about power as much as the fuel economy, then you’ll probably end up choosing the Sportage over the Sorento.

For all who regularly find themselves carting around larger groups of people, then you’ll want the Sorento, as it has the capability of seating more people than the Sportage, though the Sportage does have more cargo space behind the rear seats. Of course, if you don’t need that extra row for passengers in the Sorento, then you can keep the seats folded down, and expand the cargo space to 38.0 cu. ft, so you’ll be able to have more cargo space than the Sportage and 5 people in the vehicle.
