Specs and Features
As you can see in the table above, there are a fair amount of differences for these 3 trim levels. This means that you can choose whatever trim suits you the most. In order to assist you, we’ve put in a variety of specs and features that hopefully give you a variety of differences between these trims. First up is the color packages. For those freaking out thinking they are going to only have one exterior color option, take a breath; that’s not the case! When we say this, we mean the color packages of the seating and trim of the vehicle. Phew, crisis averted. As you can see, the Lx and S don’t have any seating and trim color packages available, while the EX has 2 available; gray and red. So, if you don’t like the standard seat colors of the EX, you can opt for one of those two color packages.
When it comes to Dynamic Driving, you have 2 driving modes standard on the S and EX; Normal and Sport. This optional on the LX. Speaking of driving, the LX has a 6-speed manual transmission that is standard, though you can opt for the CVT that the S and EX have standard.
For the wheels, the LX has a 15” steel wheels with wheel covers, while the S has 16” Alloy wheels and the EX has 17” Alloy wheels.
The sound system for the LX and the S are the same, at 4 speakers, while the EX has 6 speakers, so any audio enthusiasts may be better off getting the EX, if speakers are a deciding factor for you.
While we don’t know the exact release date, we can expect to see the 2019 Kia Forte in the fall of 2018, so keep your eyes open for this stylish new vehicle! Interested in other 2019 Kia models? Keep an eye on our blog, and we’ll keep you updated!
