Veteran’s Day 2016 Free Meals and Discounts in and around Fort Worth, TX

Veteran’s Day is November 11th, 2016 and as is the same with every year, many local businesses provide veterans with a free meal or discount to thank them for their service. From all of us at Moritz Kia, we would like to thank all of our veterans for serving our country. If you live in the Fort Worth, Dallas and surrounding area, here are the local places offer veterans free meals or discounts for Veteran’s Day 2016.  

54th Street Grill & Bar-San Antonio, Irving, San Marcos, Fort Worth, TX

At any Five-Four location, veterans can receive a free meal up to $12.00. Proof of service is required. Enjoy casual American cuisine and try one of the favorites like “Street” steaks, slow-cooked baby back ribs, “Mile High” burgers and their world-famous “Gringo” dip.

Austin Steam Train-Cedar Park, TX

If you are up for a drive, veterans and active duty military ride for free on Veterans Day. Their guests will also receive half price on their ticket. It is a 44-mile journey that spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for 15 minutes in Bertram Depot. The train departs at 2pm and returns at 5pm. Red Hot & Blue Restaurants are offering active duty, retirees and reservists a free entrée with the purchase of two drinks and a second entrée of equal or greater value for three days. The available days include Wednesday, November 9, Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11.
