The Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot raises money for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth to serve nearly 11,000 community members with direct financial assistance. This means that people who wish to enjoy the services of the Y, but are not able to afford them, are provided financial assistance based on their needs. The Y also subsidizes many programs and services to offer them at low or no cost to those in need. This allows the YMCA to stick to its roots as a community-orientated organization that welcomes all people of all ages.
