The boxy Kia Soul is a perfect combination of stylish and practical for the driver who wants to stand out without sacrificing on function. While the Kia Soul gets yearly updates to keep everything fresh and updated, some model year updates are more extensive than others. The new 2020 Kia Soul is beginning to arrive now at Kia dealerships nationwide and the cabin, technology updates, and reconfigured trim levels mean that it’s quite different overall compared to outgoing 2019 Kia Soul models.
To aid shoppers trying to decide between the two model years, we have included performance specs and a pricing and trim level of the 2020 Kia Soul and 2019 Kia Soul below. For additional in-person research, visit the Moritz Kia dealership in Fort Worth, TX.
The 2019 Kia Soul lineup ranges in starting price from $16,490 for Base configurations to $22,990 for ! (Exclaim) configurations. While the 2019 Soul lineup does offer drivers all of the basics they will need for staying comfortable on the go like heated side mirrors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry and ignition, and heated seats depending on trim, the feature options are less robust than what is offered on the reconfigured 2020 Kia Soul.
The 2020 Kia Soul lineup doubles drivers' available options with six total trim level configurations to choose from: LX, S, X-Line, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo. The starting prices for each trim range from $17,490 for base LX configurations to $27,490 for top-of-the-line GT-Line Turbo configurations. While overall the range in pricing on the 2020 Kia Soul is much higher than the previous model year, lower trim levels are comparable to their 2019 counterparts and the higher trim levels bring added technology that wasn’t available on previous Kia Soul models, so it’s a win for drivers.
Car shoppers can find the new 2020 Kia Soul and outgoing 2019 Kia Soul on sale now at Moritz Kia in Fort Worth, TX. Stop by the dealership and our team would be happy to point out additional differences between each model and can help you find your best match.
